Butterscotch Bars

1/2 C butter
2 C brown sugar
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla
2 C flour
2 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 C shredded coconut
1 C chopped walnuts
In a saucepan cook butter and brown sugar over low heat until bubbly, stirring constantly. Cool mixture. Add eggs to cooled mixture beating well with each addition. Add vanilla, dry ingredients, coconut and nuts. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 pan. Bake 350° about 25 minutes or until done. Cut bars while warm, but remove them when almost cool.
