Herb bread

Ingredients:
1/2 C milk
2 T. sugar
1 t. salt
1 T. butter
2 T. chopped onion
1 t. oregano
1/2 t. marjoram
1/4 C warm water
1 pkg dry yeast
2 3/4 C flour
1 egg
Notes:
Combine milk, sugar, salt, butter, onion, herbs in a pan. Heat until bubbles appear and butter is melted. Cool liquid. Prove yeast in warm water. Add proved yeast in milk mixture. Add egg and flour mixing well. Cover and let rise for 1 hour. Stir down and turn info grease loaf pan. Let rise 30 minutes. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
