Swedish Cookies

Ingredients:
1/2 C butter
1/4 C sugar
1 egg yolk
1 C flour
1 egg white
Finely chopped nuts
Notes:
Cream butter and sugar, add egg yolk, then flour. Roll into small balls and dip into unbeaten egg white and roll in chopped nuts. Place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten with the bottom of a glass. Preheat oven to 350°. Bake cookies 5 minutes and remove from oven. Make a small indentation in the center of each cookie. Place a small amount of red jelly(red raspberry or strawberry) in the indent. Return cookies to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes. Makes 1 dozen.
